Re-Opening of US6 Ribbon Cutting & First Loop

The City of Huron, members of the community, local businesses, and project partners came together on Monday, August 17 to celebrate the official reopening of US6 and the completion of the community’s first roundabout joining US6, Jim Campbell Boulevard, and Liberty Drive.

A ceremonial ribbon cutting was held at 9 AM on the corner of US6 and Williams Street. 

This significant infrastructure project was designed to improve safety, traffic flow, and long-term mobility throughout the community. After months of planning, construction, and cooperation from residents, businesses, and contractors this milestone represents more than a roadway project, it reflects an investment in the Huron community.
