Mission of the Fire Department
Our mission is to protect the lives and property of our residents and visitors from fire and critical health threats. The Department will strive to prevent fire and serious injury through comprehensive education and prevention programs. The Department will respond quickly and effectively to make the best use of our community's resources.

Station 2 Location: 1830 Bogart Road, Huron, Ohio

- When calling, state the nature of the emergency.
- Give the address of the emergency and the number of the phone you are using.
- REMAIN CALM and answer any questions that the 911 operator has to ask you.
- Speak clearly and do not shout into the phone.
- Do not hang up the phone until the 911 operator tells you to or hangs up.
