      A RED FLAG WARNING SYSTEM is ACTIVE Memorial Day thru Oct. 1.
Upon arriving at Nickel Plate Beach, educate yourself on the WARNING SYSTEMS, WATER SAFETY TIPS, and RIP CURRECTS. Never swim alone.
Lake Erie is a dynamic open body of water and can pose significant risks.
Be aware of the weather conditions at all times while visiting the park and beach.




Huron City Ordinance - PROHIBITS DOGS at Nickel Plate PARK and BEACH
from Memorial Day through Labor Day during the hours of 10am to 6pm.


Portable RESTROOMS are on-site and available during the season.
