Dock in the heart of Huron, Ohio at the award-winning Huron Boat Basin Marina. This city-owned and operated marina offers transient and seasonal dockage on the Huron River just minutes from Lake Erie.
Here, boaters enjoy floating docks with 30-amp electric service and water hookups, clean and updated restrooms and showers, free Wi-Fi, docking assistance and convenient access to downtown Huron restaurants, shops, parks and waterfront attractions.
The Huron Boat Basin is also home to Huron's waterfront amphitheater, where boaters can enjoy free summer concerts,
movies and community events just steps from their slips. Transient slips can be reserved by phone at 419-433-4848 or online through Dockwa.

Huron is a popular Lake Erie fall walleye fishing destination, providing convenient access to productive western and central basin waters.

- 24’ Dock – $70 per week ($280 – four-week deposit)
- 30’ Dock – $70 per week ($280 – four-week deposit)
- 32’ Dock – $75 per week ($300 – four-week deposit)

Q. How much is transient dockage at Huron Boat Basin?
A. Daily rate is $2 per foot, per night, based on the overall length of your boat
Q. Do you offer any discounts?
A. We have a weeknight special - $40 per night, valid Sunday through Thursday nights.
Q. We want to come to Huron for a few hours to grab lunch, do you have anything available?
A. Yes. Spots along our river wall are just $10 for three hours, and are first-come, first-served.

Q. Does Huron Boat Basin have electric and water?
A. Yes. We offer 30-amp power and potable water at our 24’, 30’, 32’ and 40’ slips.
Q. Does the marina have showers and restrooms?
A. The Boat Basin features modern and clean ADA-accessible restrooms and showers. The facilities are located steps away, directly under the Harbor Building.
Q. What VHF channel does Huron Boat Basin monitor?
A. Marina staff monitors Channel 09.
Q. Can Huron Boat Basin accommodate larger boats?
A. We do offer spots for 40’+ boats, but space is limited.
Q. Are pets allowed?
A. We love pets! We even offer mutt-mitts to help us keep the grounds looking nice and clean.
Q. What time is marina check-in/check-out?
A. Check out time is 11 a.m., check in is after 12 p.m.
Q. Is fishing allowed in the marina?
A. No, but fishing in the river is allowed and encouraged!
