The City of Huron, Ohio in Erie County, Ohio is accepting Qualifications Statements (RFQ) from ODOT pre-qualified professional engineers for a one-time contract to perform engineering and surveying services and complete construction documents for the design of a multi-use path connecting the Lake Erie Electric Trail to the future US Route 6 Connectivity Corridor Path at Rye Beach Road. The City of Huron as the Local Public Agency (LPA) received funding through the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for this multi-use path project. Therefore, the selected consulting firm is expected to provide necessary planning, survey, design, bidding, and limited construction support services. ODOT will be performing the environmental clearance requirements for this project.
